Get Wild with Kanyana Wildlife
02 May 2019 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
QV1 Community Garden 250 St Georges Terrace
This year DXC’s Corporate Responsibility resource group is running a Global Campaign to support Earth Day.
To align with the 2019 Earth Day theme “Protect our Species”, DXC Perth has invited a local organisation from the hills of Lesmurdie, Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, to educate us on the local species found in our own WA backyards.
So if you’re keen to learn more about what you could be doing to protect these species or what you should do if you come across sick/injured wildlife – then come and have a chat with Kanyana’s amazing volunteers!
If learning isn’t for you, but you’d like to get up close and personal with some beautiful creatures on your lunch break – Kanyana will be showing off some of the below education animals:
- South West Red tailed black cockatoo
- Tawny Frogmouth
